I like Ben Carson, but I just don’t see that he has the fire to campaign hard enough to win in 2028.

I don’t believe we should select a VP based on the next election down the road... very few VPs have won subsequent elections. The criteria should be ‘is the person capable of taking over the job of President at a moments notice?’ I suspect few doubt Carson would be capable of that.

As to the ‘fire in the belly’... I think Carson balances Trump, they are like Ying and Yang... they have very good chemistry together... Just my sense on that.
