Youngkin immediately becomes the odds-on 2024 favorite over DeSantis if Trump picks Younkin as VP.
This would be an absolute gift to Youngkin who would not have to find something to do for two years after his gubernatorial term ends in 2026 and before he launches a 2028 presidential campaign.
Youngkin comes from the business world like Trump, so I would expect Trump to view that favorably in his decision making process if he is truly making a strategic governing pick vs. a sycophantic groupie like Tim Scott.
