MSNBC played audio of President Trump speaking with Variety journalist Ramin Setoodeh about the 2020 election.
MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace claimed there is a never-before-heard audio of Trump admitting he lost the election.
“Today, in a brand new tape, never heard before, we’re hearing that private admission in the ex-president’s own words – on tape. a remarkable slip of the mask…made during one of his half-dozen interviews with writer Ramin Setoodeh,” Nicolle Wallace said.
But the audio tells a completely different story.

People people people. Can we get this made clear once and for all? Trump did lose the election because the only election that really counts was the one on January 6.
The actual election that we do in November is really just a strong suggestion. The electors are under no obligation to vote for who won the election. We have a seemingly unusual but easily understood system. It was created to prevent fraud and to handle contested elections. It served us well in many situations, but the bottom line is as soon as Biden won the election on January 6, he truly was the president regardless of how votes were counted or how laws were changed or anything.
Believe me, I understand that the actual election was rigged. But once the electors voted… Biden won fair and square. Had the electors voted for Trump or me for that matter on Jan 6th then that would have been legit too. Understand the system.
