An assumedly soft on crime progressive. Philadelphia Freepers probably know the big picture here. And what are the chances that he will lose his appeal with 5 Democrats and 2 Republicans on the State Supreme Court?

“Soft on Crime” is incorrect.
Communists are PRO-CRIME. The increased crime forces calls from the citizens for increased police powers for the government.
Communists have used this tactic is every country they’ve taken over.
This is a case study for Philly.

He might lose the appeal. The DA’s problem is that his soft-on-crime agenda is having a very negative effect on the urban livestock who make up another core Democrat constituency.
On another note … If this were just about one group of Philadelphia Democrat losers preying another group of Democrats, the PA Republican legislators wouldn’t even care. They pushed this bill mainly to score political points among SEPTA riders who commute to Philadelphia from the surrounding suburban counties.

U.S. law assumes innocence until proven guilty. Citizenship is, by necessity, just the opposite. If you can’t prove your right to be in the United States then get out.
