A federal judge in Florida struck down the state’s law banning children from undergoing sex changes, including puberty blockers or cross-sex hormones, if a parent consents to treatment.
Senior Judge Robert Hinkle said the law was discriminating against minorities and women.
According to Hinkle, Florida went a step too far by banning transgender minors from being sex change hormones and puberty blockers if they obtain parental consent.

Unelected individual thwarting the will of the people via “his” interpretation of the law. Term limits are needed for Federal Judges, and a review procedure for those who choose to “re-write” the Constitution to suit themselves.
Maybe the people of Florida went a step too far when they allowed certain people to be judges.
The judge was a Federal appointment by Clinton. We only get vote on state judges.

In a related ruling, Judge Hinkle overturned all Florida laws prohibiting parents from beating their kids black and blue, chaining them to radiators, etc.
In a related story, the Florida legislature plans to pass a bill prohibiting jail time for T kids who punch their idiot parents in the face after growing up and realizing what was done to them.

That doesn’t make a lick of sense.
So very tired of hearing about “the will of the people” especially commenters whining about some thing voted in or by law.
If “The People” actually had will they would be talking with others, helping encourage people to be moral and not so caught up in leaning on medical opinion or the current fad of drug or procedure.
“The will of the people” should NOT be more laws trying to stop personal or parental choice.
Each person or their guardian gets to make their own choice - then answers to God.
“The People” are slacking if they think voting or passing laws is real important.
It’s one to one combat in this war of good and evil.
Get INVOLVED locally or wherever , but be active daily/often, otherwise your will is super weak compared to those doing their best to push their evil agenda.
Perhaps FL can reply, “10th Amendment, baby!” - since the constitution doesn’t give the federal gov any type of medical oversite. And there haven’t been any amendments passed to do so.
