This is a misdirection, check out Julie Kellys reporting on the DIRECTOR of it all, General Mark Milley. Just days ago, the reporting on the General came out. THIS revelation is to cover up for that. What happened with the CIA, FBI, Capitol Police and the US Military is the story.
The President is the Commander in Chief of the D.C. National Guard. And Trump has admitted he is the one who eventually called them out late in the day on January 6.
He had apparently “authorized” Pelosi to call them out earlier, which she passed on. But he could have called them earlier as well, as proven by him being the one to call them out later.
The whole thing was a bad idea, and mismanaged by everyone involved, but Republicans will never shake the blame. Nothing good could have come from it, or ever will. Best to just drop it at this point.
