We will.see. ive heard that Trump’s conviction is the lowest level felony in New York law. And, especially since he’s a first offender, those convicted of a low level felony often escape a prison sentence.

But, because its Trump, he may well be sent to prison.

Electric chair, most likely.

They seem to be jumping ahead with saying there will be a probation officer--won't Merchan have to make an announcement about that? Who would choose the officer--Merchan or Bragg?

Of course Trump isn't showing "remorse" when he is innocent of their BS conviction. They take a misdemeanor he isn't guilty of (there were no falsified business records), long past the statute of limitations, and somehow connect it to a felony but won't tell him what that felony is--and even after the verdict we don't know what it was. Franz Kafka could not have imagined something this insane. But 96% of Democrats think the verdict was right, and it will be NY Democrats deciding his fate.

I think the only restraint on Merchan will be if he fears sentencing Trump to prison will make him more likely to win the election. So he may go for a prison term but allow him to be free on bond while the appeals are being considered.
