Well, nearly every article written with him quoted in it usually says 'Nobel Prize winning Economist'.
Until I read this piece I did not know his award was an 'adjacent' prize.

I think he got the prize for his anti-Bush articles. I doubt he ever had one positive thing to say about George W. Bush in his 8 years as President. But I quickly stopped reading Krugman when it was obvious what his propaganda line was. I don’t think he had a very good record for accuracy in his economics columns.
