And “Downfall” is a great movie.
But I still can’t bring myself to watch the scene with the Goebbels’ children.
If those kids would have lived their lives would have been hell for what their father did. They would have never had peace on a daily basis.
A lot of children of prominent Nazis grew up just fine.

this sounds a bit goofy but i a long time time i read a reputable source stating one of hitlers male relatives be it cousin or nephew or whatever came here after the war and was employed as a gardener out on Long Island
