Man, what a classic that song is. It's a shame what happened to Ingle in life after the song made him millions. RIP!

My brother blared that song at high volume over and over and over (when our parents were gone). I grew to hate it.

R.I.P. Doug Ingle
That In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida song took up the whole side of an album.

Some radio stations used to play the full version. Yes indeed -all 17 minutes and 5 seconds of it!

I remember sitting in my buddy’s basement listening to that track many times.
We also used to have multi-day Monopoly tournaments.
But we were never bored back then.
Life was lived at a much slower pace back then. Sigh.

Maybe a great two-fer would be Inna-gadda-da-vida and Close to the Edge by Yes. Great way to fill up almost 40 minutes.
To: Disambiguator; EvilCapitalist
They’re both perfectly cromulent posts.

I was fortunate to see the classic lineup of that band in 1969. Unique sound. Doug was a great organist. RIP Doug.

Wait a minute, this is rock and/or roll.If you're listening to In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, you definitely roll.
