First, I must congratulate you on acknowledging that "the continual burnt offering" cited in Daniel is in fact the Consecrated Host in the Tabernacle. (i.e. The Body and Blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ)

Second, to assert that the "Abomination of desolation" is going to be a red heifer, seems a bit trivial.

NO such thing as a *continual burnt offering*.

Christ's death was once for all and He is now seated in Heaven at the right hand of the Father. It's His FINISHED work on the cross that saves us, not His perpetual suffering hanging on it.

It's His death (past tense) that paid for our sin, not His continual dying.

Catholicism would regulate Jesus to an eternity of suffering on the cross to pay for our sin.

What heresy.

Hebrews 9:23-28 It was necessary, then, for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with human hands that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God’s presence. Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own. Otherwise Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world.

But he has appeared once for all at the culmination of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself. Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

Those were different Covenants.

One referred to in Daniel, and Christ’s Once FOR ALL OFFERING (to those who would accept it) are totally different.

The Yolk of Christ is easy.
The Law is impossible to uphold, even for modern day Judaizers who are arrogant enough to think they can. Woe to them!
