US among 8 nations to allow abortion up to birth: ‘In company of brutal communist countries’
Christian Post ^ | 7 May 2024 | Ryan Foley

Despite outrage from pro-choice advocates over abortion bans in some states following the Supreme Court ruling that determined the Constitution doesn't contain a right to abortion, the U.S. remains one of only eight countries that still allow abortion up to birth.

The Charlotte Lozier Institute, the research arm of the pro-life advocacy group Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, released a report last week titled “Gestational Limits on Abortion in the United States Compared to International Norms.” The report, an update of findings previously published in 2014, lists the U.S. as one of just eight nations that permit abortions well into the latter stages of pregnancy.

The Constitution grants particular powers to the Federal government.

The rest it leaves to the states, or to the people.

Those who push federal power over the states try to show somewhere in the Constitution, where the Constitution grants the power to the Federal government.

Federal power has grown far beyond the constraints of the Constitution.

You could try argue abortion is murder, without due process under the 14th Amendment. You could argue most abortions are of "babies of color".

The problem is moral and cultural, not legal.

On these threads it seems that some of us see it as murdering innocents which cannot be allowed at any level because it isn’t any kind of a “right”, state or otherwise, by the way a death sentence “right” that isn’t actually the state’s or used by the state, but something that random females impose, even teen girls at their personal whim depending on their mood.

The other argument boils down to it merely being a medical procedure that of course doesn’t call for any federal interference of any sort since it is just a voluntary medical procedure.

I get that the Court ruled that the federal government can’t legalize abortion as they did it but did they absolutely rule that Congress can’t make abortion illegal?

The Court ruled that the previous interpretation of Roe v. Wade was not correct--there was nothing in the Constitution to guarantee abortion was a protected right, and it overturned the ruling.

That action did not suddenly make abortion illegal, it merely returned the decision back to the States.

If it wanted, Congress could pass laws about abortion, either completely keep it with whatever restrictions it decided, or completely ban it with whatever allowances it decided.

Tread carefully.

If real elections were held with referenda on abortion and no cheating, abortion would lose big.

If education about abortion were not so heavily censored by low IQ leftists, our nation’s chapter on abortion would come to a conclusive end.

Elections are not not stolen in general.

It’s all fraud.

But you have no case.

Justice is not found in the DOJ.

The laws passed in congress only serve the ruling class.

The executive branch is a police state.

Local, state and federal.

The above points leave you with nothing.

People who vote for abortion do not know what it is. The enemy can only prevail with miseducation, censorship and lies. This is the story of socialism.

The lie about abortion is that the baby is “just a blob of tissue.” I’ve spoken to many people over the years who have been mind-controlled to believe this image.

What is a “blob of tissue?” It’s the same thing you get when you blow your nose. What do you do with the kleenex after blowing your nose? You throw it away because it really is just a blob of tissue!

But if abortion education were allowed in schools and in courtrooms, support for killing babies would drop from about 40% to something like 10%.

Because abortion is not killing a “blob of tissue,” it’s killing a baby!

I think Congress can legally pass laws that protect innocent lives of Americans but that it can’t pass laws that unconstitutionally allow the murder of innocent Americans.

Then why does the left do everything it can to prevent women from seeing sonograms of babies in the womb?

It’s because when they see the tiny human on the screen, it breaks their heart and they abandon their support for abortion.

If the pregnant woman sees the image right before the abortion, she runs out of the abortion clinic.

I don’t think the left is trying to prevent women from seeing the screen, just that it is not made mandatory.

Then why do they fight tooth and nail against women seeing sonograms of babies in the womb?

No, you’re wrong.

The left want it made mandatory that nobody in the context of abortion discussions is allowed to see sonograms of babies in the womb.

Censorship is the heart of leftist ideology.
