The overturning of Roe vs Wade in 2022 that returned the issue of abortion back to the states has failed to reduce the number of abortions, according to the latest research.

According to a report released this week by the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute, there were over one million abortions in 2023, the highest rate in more than a decade and a 10 percent increase in 2020.

Take this with a grain of salt, considering the source.

Sour grapes lies a LOT.

No...I believe it...

But they say it like it's something we should be proud of.

God deliberately allowed free will.

What the human race does with it is up to them.

Innocent pre-born babies are dead.

So, what is this saying? That more people got abortions merely for SPITE?

A more despicable and vile group of people- abortion advocates and their baby murdering ilk, can hardly be found anywhere-

It’s true. Many states have already passed to birth abortion. Can’t remember if CA is to or after.
I heard an attorney following pro life explain it like this: slavery could not be left to the states because there needed to be a federal stop to prevent heinous state abuses.
We are seeing the same with abortion.

Texas has seen a precipitous drop in abortions performed within its borders. Ending RvW may not have cut the number overall but it certainly clarified which states are cool with baby killing.

Because overturning Roe did not stop abortion, it just turned the matter (correctly) over to the states, for each state to make its own rules.

Which doesn't explain a significant increase. Before Dobbs (overturning Roe) ALL states had to allow for abortion to some degree, typically pretty liberally and in at least the 1st trimester of pregnancy. That didn't change with Dobbs in the states which decided to keep abortion legal. Other states banned or severely restricted abortion, so the overall numbers should have gone down, not up.

Guttmacher is lying.

Yeah my first reaction is, says who?

But if true the abortionist should embrace the fall of Roe, win win from their hideous point of view.

Killing children should not be legal end of story.

Maybe he is or maybe he isn’t. Maybe as the states started working out new abortion legislation - during that period - some women decided to suddenly not wait for that legislation but to “hurry up” and get an abortion. I am not sayin it was that way, just guessing maybe it was.

The point of view of the abortionists is low IQ.

I don’t mean this personally. It’s simply the objective truth.

Those deaths are not in the name of our U.S. constitution.

“Which doesn’t explain a significant increase.”

Bear in mind that the Supreme Court’s objective wasn’t to explain anything except that abortion is not regulated by our Constitution.

But, but, but it’s a states rights issue.
