“the land of the free and the home of the brave.” Where are you now? How did we let this happen? Have we been invaded? Or are we just no longer worthy and “a moral and religious people?”
My Dad and a number of Uncles fought in WW2, most came home. Several cousins were in Korea and Viet Nam, again most came home. I’m a member in the American Legion but I don’t mention past conflicts to those folks. I’m not a vet, I’m in the Sons of the American Legion, I have strong opinions but these people have stronger experience than I could ever know. I respect that. I also worry a great deal about this country and where we seem to be heading.
