You can’t fix STUPID.
“Where are the Black people?”
Still in Africa living in grass huts and eating roots and berries. They haven’t even thought of sea-faring voyages.
I believe there was one African who somehow made it all the way to Japan, but that was in the 1500’s, not the 1600s.

IIRC, There was a famous Black Samurai......................
Boiled alive, that’s where they were.
They wuz kangs!
Lost in Space?
Not even with a 2 by 4!
IN that case, I want a remake of The Color Purple with only white people as the core characters.
Waiting for the Wakanda-Dragon Ball movie.

In the 1600s???
I know you say it for jest, but the Carthaginians had a Navy over 2000 years ago.
Where are the black people? In Africa.
The Ainu are NOT members of the Negroid race! The person who asked “WHERE ARE THE BLACKS”,is uneducated, race obsessed, a LIAR, and stupid beyond belief!
I’m liking the series, and just remarked to a friend it’s refreshing that they didn’t try to shoehorn an Afro samurai into the story (at least not so far).

It's not half bad, as a post apocalyptic fantasy samurai anime.
I’m happy someone brought this topic up. I recently watched every episode of Shōgun. It was okay, I guess. But I didn’t see even one electric vehicle.
Are the Japanese really that uncaring about Climate Change?
Unfortunately we live in a world where many people think of the Moors as black (perhaps true, certainly darker than I am) and, therefore, their conquests were noble and good, including not just their conquests up into Iberia (Spain), but also some history showing they may have ruled east Asia (https://clockofdestiny.com/moors-of-the-orient/
It's far-fetched to say that blacks from sub-saharan Africa ruled the world. But some Democrats and black supremacists (pardon the repetition) believe that.
