City Exodus: Americans Flock to Red States as Blue States Grapple with Economic Woes
Citizen Watch Report ^

A noticeable trend is emerging as people pack their bags and relocate, with a clear pattern of migration from Democrat-controlled cities to Republican-leaning havens. The top destinations for those seeking greener pastures include Las Vegas, Phoenix, Tampa, Orlando, and Sacramento, signaling a shift in residential preferences.

Conversely, the cities experiencing an exodus are predominantly from Democratic strongholds – San Francisco, New York City, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, and Chicago. What’s driving this migration pattern?

The parasites are moving to the next host after devouring the rotting flesh of democrat cities. This will continue until the parasite (democrat party) is killed off. /spit

Yes, DeSantis barely won but 4 years later he won by 20%, the problems in Georgia and Arizona are happening because Republicans are fighting each other rather than Democrats.

The two US Senate Seats are the biggest example of Republicans being their own worst enemy, outside of that Georgia is completely red, not Democrat holds a statewide office in Georgia.

Arizona is pretty much the situation, Kari Lake is in danger of losing the US Senate Seat because of the war with the McCain wing of the party, you don’t have to like them, but you need their votes, hopefully they come to their senses and elect Lake but who knows.

You’re making the assumption that all voters in blue states are democrat. That’s probably wrong. Blue states have large metropolitean areas that are decidely blue. Outside these areas there are large numbers of red voters. Those leaving the blue states tend to do two things. Blue voters tend to move to blue states while Red voters tend to move to red states. Consequently, people moving from blue states will have two effects. Blue states will get bluer and red states will get redder.

Florida is a unique case due it’s influx of Northern retirees.

Retirees have a tendency to be more conservative because of the experience that comes with age and the desire to Conserve what they have earned.

The other states suffering from Liberal migration are seeing an influx of younger people fleeing the bright Blue states.

These younger, largely college indoctrinated people tend to still believe that Socialism is a viable option even though their own personal experience with that ideology has caused them to relocate.

They can’t stop them from moving. They can’t stop them from voting the wrong way.

Red states should build walls to keep liberal scum out, just like we need the wall on the border to keep the illegal scum out.

Perhaps that happens...in more states than just Florida. But we've also seen the opposite. Look at the exodus of California voters that long-time Coloradians said turned Colorado blue.

Colorado has been tending blue for quite some time. It’s a classic example of a conservative leaning state being dominated by two large metro areas that are predominately blue.
That said, it’s not clear what effect migration from blue states have on red. Some get reder, some stay the same, some turn blue.

Agreed.

The California and New York refugees have seen personally just how bad it has gotten in the blue states and bluer cities, and are quite a bit “crunchier” than people who’ve been living in the red, especially for the past few years. Some of the most strident anti-communists I’ve known were Vietnamese immigrants in Orange county. They had seen for themselves what a communist regime was like, and were not about to let anyone forget. Now San Francisco isn’t quite (yet) Ho Chi Minh city, but it’s bad enough, and no one fleeing that mess wants to see anything like it re-created in their new homes.
