It's a self-organizing conspiracy of incompetents. They recognize each other from across a parking lot and join up to attack their moral and intellectual superiors and seize the levers of power. And they sell themselves to the highest private bidder to do his dirty work for him.

It has resulted in the unholy Trinity that Bush and Cheney relied upon for their war in Iraq: globalism, crony-capitalism, and radical leftism. Dadee Phelan is an icon of this mess, stupid, venal, serving the interests of the private conspiracy and doing anything in his power to hollow out and feed off of the pubic interest supported by taxpayers.

Rooster, I suggest you skip over the "Disswire" piece and go to the source, Victor Davis Hanson. It'll be seven minutes well spent. He concisely lays out how the past 30 years have unfolded, what Obama did and what he is doing today through the cardboard cutout Biden.
