The likelihood of former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard becoming Donald Trump's running mate is rising by the day.
In an interview with Jesse Watters over on Fox, Gabbard made no secret of her willingness to serve as Trump's vice presidential nominee if she was asked.
"You're being considered for a VP slot, is that something you are open to?" Watters asked during "Jesse Watters Primetime."
"I would be open to that," she responded. "My mission is to serve our country. I want to be in a position to solve problems."

Gabbard, who is regarded as somewhat of a political maverick, has long been touted as a potential running mate for Trump or as a third-party candidate.
In October 2022, she announced she was leaving the Democratic Party, describing it as an "elitist cabal of warmongers who are driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue and stoking anti-white racism who actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms that are enshrined in our Constitution."
In February, The Hill revealed that Gabbard would headline a fundraiser for Trump later this month at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.
They reported at the time:
According to an invitation shared exclusively with The Hill, Gabbard is set to be the keynote speaker at the 917 Society’s annual fundraiser on March 7 for a night in Palm Beach “celebrating the Constitution.”
The event comes after Trump, the current front-runner for the Republican nomination, acknowledged Gabbard is under consideration to be his vice presidential choice among several other contenders.
Dinner for the event costs $1,250, according to the invite.
Trump himself has confirmed that he would be open to choosing Gabbard, telling Laura Ingraham during a Fox News town hall in February that she and Vivek Ramaswamy, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem would all be possible candidates.

“Honestly all of those people are good,” Trump, 77, told Ingraham. “They’re all good, they’re all solid.”
When attendees at the largely pro-Trump Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Maryland in February were surveyed about who they would choose as his VP, Gabbard came in second place.

Although Gabbard's chances of being chosen appear more likely by the day, her choice would still be unconventional. As a former Democrat, she previously endorsed the candidacies of both Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders, and holds left-wing positions on everything from abortion and the environment to drug policy and LGBT rights.
gabbard is a HARD, HARD leftist ... PERIOD ...
JFKJ is a HARD, HARD leftist ... PERIOD ...
If it takes a Leftist to keep us clear of starting WW3 as the Neocons are in the process of doing, then so be it.
I definitely don’t want her a heartbeat away from the Presidency.
Tulsi is my pick for Army Secretary. Others have suggested DVA and that also works for me.
RE: What about you? Is Tulsi your choice?
I’m partial to Byron Donalds or Ben Carson.
I don’t know. I’m kind of thinking Trump might want to pick someone who’s actually him for the past 8 years rather than an ambitious opportunist, who only recently “discovered” that her policies align with Trump’s. But I get it. Trump needs her because apparently she’s wildly popular with some imaginary demographic that Trump needs to win, so he has no choice.
I don’t want a cow worshipper. I already held my nose and voted for a Mormon once.

Isn’t that why we’re voting for Trump? to prevent WWIII (among other things)? Are you suggesting that can only be achieved if Tulsi is his VP?

Removing the regime will have to be a bipartisan project.
Trump won’t be elected running with another Republican. He should run with Tulsi or RFK jr.
It does not matter what he says he is going to do. If the regime remains in place he will do nothing.
Both Gabbard and Kennedy have excellent perspectives on the regime and on foreign wars (which really are the same issue), and in 2024, that’s the only issue that matters.
Me too, and I voted for Sarah Palin, not the backstabber she ran with. I will never hold my nose again and vote for a GOP candidate I know is a POS. I don't care if Jesus was his running mate. I wouldn't do it, and won't be a part of that ever again.
President Trump’s staff can do the focus group analysis to figure out what is fact and what is fiction.
I am confident they will make the wise choice based on all the data—which we probably will not see.
Why are so many MAGA conservatives being seduced by Tulsi Gabbard and RFK, Jr. They’re democRATs, people!! 😠
👍👍
The idea is for Trump to win back the WH. She would help him get independent voters and women voters.
Surfing pictures and dreams of a return to Camelot.

Don’t know - he tried last time to stop the Neocons and they were able to use HIS OWN PEOPLE against him, and I suspect some of the problem that he had was that he just didn’t know his way around. Tulsi knows her way around and NO ONE will be able to pull any crap on her.
Most of the support I hear for Tulsi presumes she has some sort of star power that can bring Trump a significant number of voters he couldn’t otherwise get. IMO, that’s just a fantasy. Tulsi performed poorly during her ill-fated 2020 campaign. Who is she supposed to bring to the ticket? Trump is polling as well as he is because of who HE is. Diluting his message by pandering for votes rather than choosing someone who genuinely supports his policies does him more harm than good.
I would like that ticket.
>>”Tulsi knows her way around and NO ONE will be able to pull any crap on her.”
With all due respect, where do you come up with that? Tulsi knows her way around? In what respect? She’s been in the House for 10 years. What’s so unique about that? She’s never worked in the executive branch or demonstrated any unique skills that would set her apart to be second in command. What makes you think she’ll hold the line on anything when her “beliefs” change with the wind?
