The likelihood of former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard becoming Donald Trump's running mate is rising by the day.
In an interview with Jesse Watters over on Fox, Gabbard made no secret of her willingness to serve as Trump's vice presidential nominee if she was asked.
"You're being considered for a VP slot, is that something you are open to?" Watters asked during "Jesse Watters Primetime."
"I would be open to that," she responded. "My mission is to serve our country. I want to be in a position to solve problems."

Gabbard, who is regarded as somewhat of a political maverick, has long been touted as a potential running mate for Trump or as a third-party candidate.
In October 2022, she announced she was leaving the Democratic Party, describing it as an "elitist cabal of warmongers who are driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue and stoking anti-white racism who actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms that are enshrined in our Constitution."
In February, The Hill revealed that Gabbard would headline a fundraiser for Trump later this month at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.
They reported at the time:
According to an invitation shared exclusively with The Hill, Gabbard is set to be the keynote speaker at the 917 Society’s annual fundraiser on March 7 for a night in Palm Beach “celebrating the Constitution.”
The event comes after Trump, the current front-runner for the Republican nomination, acknowledged Gabbard is under consideration to be his vice presidential choice among several other contenders.
Dinner for the event costs $1,250, according to the invite.
Trump himself has confirmed that he would be open to choosing Gabbard, telling Laura Ingraham during a Fox News town hall in February that she and Vivek Ramaswamy, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem would all be possible candidates.

“Honestly all of those people are good,” Trump, 77, told Ingraham. “They’re all good, they’re all solid.”
When attendees at the largely pro-Trump Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Maryland in February were surveyed about who they would choose as his VP, Gabbard came in second place.

Although Gabbard's chances of being chosen appear more likely by the day, her choice would still be unconventional. As a former Democrat, she previously endorsed the candidacies of both Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders, and holds left-wing positions on everything from abortion and the environment to drug policy and LGBT rights.
“Trump makes the call.”
I agree, and I keep in mind that she was a Democrat from Hawaii and good on all of the issue...but she was still EJECTED from the party because she wouldn’t be a bitch for the Neocons regarding their war in Syria, and she sure as heck won’t carry the water for their war in Ukraine either. She gets into the nuts and bolts and figures out what REALLY happened, and neither party likes her doing that.
Gun grabber
It appears as though she waffles on the issue. I just looked it up out of interest.

The again Bush Jr. certainly did also, the only reason he didn’t sign a renewal of the 1994 AWB was because he had to get reelected.
Does no one here remember the senate hearings To determine if McStain, born on a us base in panama, to american citizens, was eligible to run for potus? Same time Barraq the magic negro was showing off a blatantly forged HI birth cert. ?
That was the last time anyone running for potus ever got checked in any legit capacity.
“Tulsi Gabbard Throws Her Hat In for Trump’s VP Pick”
Then I’ll throw my vote away and write myself in.
Ugh ... as bad as Ratherswampy.
No, thanks.
Who would be your personal preference?
Thanks, I did not know.
I guess that makes it official.
I liked when she went to Syria and toured the bad places during Soetero’s reign of fundamental change and lies. Can she be a good veep and help push back against the Alinsky/Clowar-Piven, Maoists?
We need strong, powerful leaders no more than ever.
Two-factor security - key fob + steering wheel lock. These kids don’t know what an angle grinder is.
Tulsi, being a “woman of color,” might help the ticket if Trump were to run against Michelle Obama.
Disheartening how many pile on for the next pretty face w/o reviewing past statements. Tulsi is posion in a pretty wrapper.
The very real possibility of Roe v Wade being overturned terrifies me. I am sick of women’s bodies being used as pawns so politicians can score cheap political points at the expense of their freedom and safety. I am wholly committed to abortion remaining safe, legal and rare. We must commit to defending a woman’s right to choose. I also support sensible codifying of Roe v Wade preventing third-trimester abortion except when there are grave or life-threatening health consequences for the mother.
We need to invest in 100% renewable and safe energy sources like wind, solar, and geothermal. I also support a ban on fracking, ending the $26 billion/year in fossil fuel subsidies, ban offshore drilling, harness innovation to create jobs in renewable energy, provide better opportunities for our farmers, ensure every American has clean air and water, and ban all subsidies or waivers to the nuclear power industry, which should itself be completely responsible for paying for its own insurance and paying the long term cost for safe storage of nuclear waste over centuries.
I support a single-payer system where everyone contributes and is covered, and that will also allow individuals to access private insurance if they choose. If we truly want to reform our healthcare system, we cannot give big insurance and big pharma a seat at the table to draft legislation. Unlike so many of my colleagues in Congress, I will not bow to the pressure of lobbyists and special interest groups and will instead stand up for the interests of the American people.
I will not accept the false choice between compassion and security that is currently being offered to us. We need comprehensive immigration reform to address our broken immigration laws and we need to have a serious conversation about the most effective and humane ways to compassionately secure our borders while building bridges and cooperative foreign policy with other countries. Most urgently, we must pass DACA to ensure children who know no other home are allowed to remain in the US and take steps to ensure children are not separated from their parents.

RE: if Trump were to run against Michelle Obama.
What’s Trump gotta do? Wait for the Democrat convention to nominate their candidate before choosing his VP?
I think WWIII has begun covertly.
One false flag to justify action and it will involve overt NATO troops
The VP has no power to stop it…
RE: Her mother is a native of Indiana; her father is a native of American Samoa.
Were either one of her parents American Citizens at the time of her birth?
No way Jose. Wouldn’t even vote for my grandad. (He was born in the Oklahoma territory in 1890)..( he’s deceased these days anyway.) I want you born on solid American ( or Texas ) soil.
She’s a climate change wacko , those types are extremely dangerous and should never have any power.
No need to wait that long. If Michelle is to replace Biden, it will be evident before the Democrats hold their convention.
