I live in a city that was once the 12th or 13th largest city in the state. There was no traffic to speak of. Buying a house was cheaper than renting and there were more churches than bars. That has all changed in the last three years. Huge influx of people migrating from liberal hellholes and contractors because of the large amount of construction going on.
I was thinking about this the other day. The constant anti-white racist diatribes will eventually push whites into predominately white areas. White males are avoiding the woke military and legacy members such as myself discourage family members from going into today's military. As people migrate due to social and economic considerations, will the skin color of your neighbors begin to be a deciding factor? It shouldn't but I know people from NYC who did not settle in our area because we have a larger mix of races. They had enough of that in NYC. They opted instead for Florida's Panhandle area. They were the exception, but will that become the norm?
That is perfect advice; but they are into "instant gratification", so they won't listen. Georgia is perfect for them. They won't have to register, or even go to a polling place; the government there will do that for them.
I know I shouldn't, but I laugh thinking about Californians and New Yawk'ers; moving to Houston. Out of the frying pan, into the fire. Can you just see New Yawk'ers, who are used to public transit; learning to drive in...Houston?
The only "saving grace" I can see in Houston, is Buc-ee's in Katy and Baytown.
