Did I suggest that we should be prideful or gloat over God's victory or judgment?

Perhaps I should have been clearer in my comment to you...clearer in teasing apart the difference between taking pleasure in the pain of others--even a criminal--and taking pleasure in the fact that justice has been done.

There is a fine line between gloating and joyfulness that justice has been rendered.

Proverbs 21:15

When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.

BTW, I think God expects that we would sometimes take pleasure (but not gloating) when the haughty get their comeuppance because such a comeuppance can bring the haughty to repentance.

As an aside, I don't think gloating is something that I have ever experienced with real Christians (those who have given their life to Christ).

There is a fine line between being glad justice has been done AND taking pleasure from the suffering of another person (with the exception wherein such suffering leads to repentance).
