The charges against Trump are wrong but I am troubled by the affair being disqualifying as they were both on the prosecution. If that "office romance" is disqualifying, how many attorneys around the country are now disqualified?
It is a different matter for the county and state to question the use and misuse of funds, improper hiring, contracts, etc., but that is a different matter.

This is what we mockingly used to call "Fitzmas" when Democrats believed their Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald was going to jail Karl Rove over the Valeria Plame investigation.
It never happened, and I suspect the Georgia judge will be under immense pressure to keep his hands off of Fani Willis (pun intended).

Disqualified? Isn’t that kinda like forcing Fani to recuse herself from the case and the case goes on? Fani is removed from this one, but is allowed to go on to crucify some other poor victim. It has nothing to do with any ‘personal benefit’. She hired her lover to help her go after Trump. She is corrupt to the core and should be disbarred at the very least.
And sorry, but disqualification is not a proper recourse. The case is tainted and should be thrown out. In a sane world, it would be. Oh wait. In a sane world, it would never have been brought in the first place. Nevermind.
