We previously reported that there may be some big issues coming for "Squad" member Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) in this election.
As we noted, both she and her fellow "Squad" member Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) were being outraised by their more moderate, Democrat challengers.
Seems people are not necessarily big fans of extremists. Her principal opponent, Wesley Bell, said he was honored by the support and drew a sharp contrast between himself and Bush. In a statement to the Hill, Bell said:
Missouri’s 1st District deserves a representative who shows up, does the work and gets things done. I’m honored by our fast-growing list of endorsements from community members and local officials, and energized by the incredible momentum of support driving our campaign.
Bush is also facing a challenge from Maria Chapelle-Nadal, who we have written about before, although she probably wouldn't be an improvement on Cori Bush.
On top of that, Bush is the subject of a criminal investigation involving misuse of funds.

Bush may also face difficulty for her extremist anti-Israel positions that have caused a lot of division among Democrats. Bell is supportive of Israel, saying we have to stand behind our allies. Bush was one of only two members of Congress, along with Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), who voted against a bill that banned anyone who took place in the October 7 attack on Israel from immigrating to this country.
Now comes a new poll that shows just how much trouble she could be in, when it comes to the 2024 election. The poll has her down to Bell--and it's by a lot.
The poll from Remington Research has Bush down by 22 points, with Bell at 50 percent and Bush at only 28 percent. Another candidate, Nadal had 4 percent, and undecided garnered 18 percent.

Big red flag for the far-left Squad lawmakers. pic.twitter.com/Pzhgj1IJPv— Josh Kraushaar (@JoshKraushaar) February 10, 2024
“Big red flag for far-left Squad lawmakers,” Josh Kraushar, the editor-in-chief of Jewish Insider, said.
“This data is yet another example why pandering to the left-wing radicalism on Israel in the Dem party is a counterproductive strategy for Biden,” Kraushar warned.
Now, I'll always make my cautionary statement about polls, particularly when they tells us what we want to hear. It should be noted that the poll only contained just 401 voters; the margin of error is 4.9 percent. We'll have to look ahead, as more polls come out, But it's certainly a stark message to Bush with Bell's lead far more than the margin of error, particularly given all Bush's other problems,
It's a big indication that she could go down to defeat, and what a great day that would be for a better Congress and all Americans.
If she loses the primary election in Aug.
What will she blame it on? Certainly not on anything she did or didn’t do. Let’s see; racism and sexism come to mind.
And I hope she loses by a landslide!
Yeah, yeah, every election we hear about a member of the squad possibly losing, and then in the end they win comfortably.
Oh, you mean the voters might not like a corrupt, fat ass, stupid F*** with a BIG mouth?
I hope she wins. The Squat needs to be the face of the dem party.
I’m going to be sending a few mail in ballots for her as soon as I can print them. I’ve got a few Jamaal Bowman mail ins left if anyone needs them.

Hyper-woke Squad member Cori Bush is forecast to lose Democrat primary by TWENTY-TWO points, new poll shows, after she used taxpayer funds to pay husband to act as bodyguard while calling for police to be defunded
Same Stuff. Different Day.
Does any Missouri FReepers care to tell us how crazy Wesley Bell is?
