It’s a fungus, and you catch it mostly in hospitals and nursing homes.

These kind of fungi spread like wildfires in a hospital setting and patients who are immuno-compromised are highly susceptible. It’s why the worst place for a sick person is a hospital, get your treatment and gtfo and try to recover at home, if you can. I’ve lost loved ones who went into the hospital for one thing relatively minor and never made it out after being infected with a fungus.

First Identified: C. auris was first identified in Japan in 2009, although the earliest infection is believed to have occurred in South Korea in 1996.

Global Spread: Unrelated strains of the fungus have been found in multiple countries worldwide, including the United States.

Transmission: It is typically transmitted in hospitals and healthcare settings. The fungus can spread via contaminated surfaces (such as medical equipment and furniture) and from person to person.

Hardiness: C. auris is hardy and can last on surfaces for weeks at a time, contributing to its transmission in healthcare facilities.
Symptoms:

The symptoms of C. auris infection can vary widely depending on the person and the affected body part.

The most common symptoms include fever and chills, but these are also common in many other infections.

Challenges in Identification: Most people with C. auris are already being treated for another condition, making symptoms difficult to identify.

At-Risk Populations:
C. auris is most common among people with multiple chronic or recurrent health conditions.

Individuals living in nursing facilities or those with frequent hospitalizations are at a higher risk of C. auris infection.

More info from Cleveland Clinic....
People with a healthy immune system usually don’t get sick from C. auris, but can transmit it to others.

Symptoms:

Fever.
Chills.
Lethargy (extreme tiredness).
Low blood pressure.
High heart rate (tachycardia).
Low body temperature (hypothermia).
Pain, pressure or feeling of fullness in your ear ( C. auris ear infection)

Candida sp. is a genus of various yeast species. Most are benign ; this one is a pathogen.

Spread by direct contact, bodily fluids, and contaminated surfaces.

Generally nosocomial, i.e. spread in health care facilities.

It sits on the skin. Appears to be touch induced.

Has everyone noticed all the old new outbreaks since Joe Biden opened up the border?

Biden needs to be impeached and removed. He isn’t even legit. Maybe he can just be thrown out of squatting in the WH.

He has brought all of this into America.

I call that purposely not doing the primary job they are supposed to be doing. Protecting America and it’s people.

Not a word about how the damn thing spreads.

YES.. I'm in full agreement. It tells you NOTHING about how to protect yourself from it, etc.

Might possibly be the start of nothing more than a SCARE TACTIC to once again promote "MAIL IN VOTING" for the upcoming November election.
