During the week the protest movement of French farmers that took root in the southwestern regions spread nationwide.
The French farmers protest reflecting the frustration of farmers across the European Union. Rules and regulations limiting the use of land already in force and more related to climate in the pipeline.
The movement of cheap agricultural goods across the borders of the EU nations and goods from beyond its borders an added element of frustration harming French farmers ability to get higher prices for their goods.
Even now the European Union is fast-tracking a deal with the South American nations...
By Thursday both Prime Minister Gabirel Attal and President Emmanuel Macron were responding to the protest with promises of action which moved some farm organizations but not all to suspend the blockades.
Most of the time the police were passive but they made a special effort to protect the Rungis outdoor market near Paris which sells cheap foreign produce...
Friday and Saturday morning the Mainstream "Drive-By" Media moved on talking about....
Today in Paris a protest forming this afternoon in support of the farmers at the Champ de Mars near the Eiffel Tower...
And as usual every Saturday a Yellow Vests protest was held in Paris with a march through the streets...
Outside of Paris today the farmers protests slowing down the last blockades removed from highways but some notable protest actions...
