I have a repro land pattern brown bess with a nominal .75 bore making it basically an 11 gauge. I get surprisingly good patterns with pea gravel.

I’ve seen some Beautiful ‘Brown Bess’ but I just took out my .50 cal Hawkens that I
call Hatchet Jack! A Pie plate at 100yds
No Problem.
