The US and other nations convinced Ukraine to give up one of the worlds largest nuclear arsenals along with missiles and strategic bombers in return for a promise of security.

If the US and other nations don't protect Ukraine now it will be impossible to convince any nation in the future not to arm themselves with nuclear weapons.

If Ukraine manages to fight off the Russians without our aid they will probably set about developing nuclear weapons.

And then we'll have another nuclear armed nation - one with some of the most modern drones and a large army with combat experience.

It is in the interest of our nation to have them on our side.

An example of Russian "success":

A Russian assault ends badly

The fact is that Russia is losing about 1,000 men a day

Only an idiot believe that. There is absolutely NO evidence to backup that claim.

In fact, the pro-Ukraine BBC has only been able to find this many total causalities on the Russian side:

https://en.zona.media/article/2022/05/20/casualties_eng

43,460
Russian casualties corroborated by publicly available data as of 2 February

Mediazona, in collaboration with BBC News Russian service and a team of volunteers, continues gathering information on the Russian military casualties in Ukraine. The figures we provide are sourced from publicly available information, including social media posts from family members, local media coverage, and official statements from local authorities.

So, that is the best response you could come up with to the points I made? I'm not surprised.

For the States, united, to make a binding promise to a foreign country requires consent from the states in the form of 2/3 of their delegates (the Senators) to ratify something called a treaty.

In the case of Ukraine there is a piece of paper signed by Bill Clinton, which has no binding effect on the 50 states which would have to provide the men and the money to fight a war.

But it is happening very very slowly, and Russia is paying the price for it.

Not really. This is all the total Russian causalities this media site could find:

Looking back, we should have left Ukraine alone.

If we had ignored Ukraine after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Ukraine was more likely to keep their nukes.

Russia had the codes, but if Ukraine really needed the codes, they would find a way to get them.

Russia may get angry at Ukraine for not giving up their nukes. But what will they do about it?

Just look at North Korea. Everyone leaves them alone.

Expecting honest dealing from Russia is like expecting an abusive man to beat his wife only on alternate Tuesdays.

Like the Minsk agreements?

This is one assault on Novomikhailivka alone. Even Russian milbloggers are complaining about the massive waste of men and materiel.

Many times that:

WASHINGTON, Dec 12 (Reuters) - A declassified U.S. intelligence report assessed that the Ukraine war has cost Russia 315,000 dead and injured troops, or nearly 90% of the personnel it had when the conflict began, a source familiar with the intelligence said on Tuesday.
The report also assessed that Moscow’s losses in personnel and armored vehicles to Ukraine’s military have set back Russia’s military modernization by 18 years, the source said.

Anything coming out of the Biden regime is propaganda, including from the woke military.

Translated from Putin Fanbois speak: "I can't refute all the bad news coming out Russia, so I will deem it 'propaganda' and ignore it."

Typical response from a Zeeper that can't defend his position. You're intellectual vacant numbskull.

If Russia had suffered anywhere near that many causalities, there would obituaries in Russian newspapers, images of from funerals and gravesites on Russian social media and Russian hospitals would be overflowing. There is all that on the Ukrainian side.

It can go either way, if Trump wins, you'll see that all the Western aid to Ukraine dries up rather quickly. Russia will demand concessions to sign the cease-fire.

You missed Trump's latest flip-flop where he said that Europe will need to match the dollar amount of U.S. aid to Ukraine.

Numbskull?

Careful there Kazan. You are deviating from the Putin Fanboi non-responsive response playlist:
demand a response to a previous answer
insinuate the poster is homosexual
demand links to the authority for poster's comment (which you will ignore when posted)
denounce the post as propaganda
insinuate the poster is homosexual
post a nonsensical statement, followed by "LOL"
insinuate the poster is homosexual (that's the Putin Fanbois' favorite)

I posted that list nearly six months ago, after 18 months of observing Putin Fanbois, and clearly, after denouncing a post as "propaganda," you were supposed to call me homosexual, not a numbskull. You deviated from the Putin Fanbois non-responsive response play list. Are you a deviate Kazan, or did you guys have a meeting, and change the play list?
