Today’s jobs report was UGLY! How when the US unexpectedly added 353K “jobs” – the most since January 2023. Remember, Biden is President. And apparenty El Presidente of Latin America, Africa and Asia.
Let me start with the official Biden jobs report versus the ADP jobs report from yesterday. BLS showed an amazing surge while ADP was sigalling a slowdown. Obviously, BLS is measuring employment differently (this is an election year after all). Like seasonal adjustments (always econometric voodoo).
Here is a summary of the labor composition in the past year: all the jobs have been part-time jobs!
Said otherwise, not only has all job creation in the past 4 years has been exclusively for foreign-born workers, but there has been zero job-creation for native born workers since July 2018!
Source: St Louis Fed FRED Native Born and Foreign Born This is a huge issue – especially at a time of an illegal alien flood at the border – and is about to become a huge political scandal, because once the inevitable recession finally hits, there will be millions of furious unemployed Americans demanding a more accurate explanation for what happened – i.e., the illegal immigration floodgates that were opened by the Biden admin.
Which is also why the Biden admin will do everything in his power to insure there is no official recession before November… and is why after the election is over, all economic hell will finally break loose. Until then, however, expect the jobs numbers to get more and more ridiculous.
I wonder if “Union Joe” is telling US labor union about no growth for native workers.

I don’t have any problem with foreigners who work. It’s the ones who come as predators I don’t care for. We are above the full employment level so they aren’t stealing any jobs either.

And the US government probably hired 50% of them ... probable less than 10% of the jobs have to do with manufacturing.
Bullshit. Where I work in high tech you can’t get hired unless you are brown and English is your second language. Whites are being replaced. Is that you Chuck Schumer?
The number of native born working age people is effectively flat. It will soon start to decline. The only US population increase is coming from immigrants.
That the total employment of foreign born people is increasing follows directly from this change in the labor pool.
We don’t want them taking jobs away from native-born Americans! NO to Third-World immigration! Phooey!
The jobs report is pure BS, I know PLENTY of people who are out of work and recently been laid off..my mom’s current tenant has been out of work for months, she works in the entertainment field making outfits and she’s been on unemployment for months, no work in sight
My wife accidentally discovered a measurement of the economic reality via her follow up appointments for her post hip replacement followups with our HMO/PPO.
She discovered if she scheduled her follow up appts on the 1st of the month or as close as possible, it was easy and fast to make her appts. With the appt being on or close to the first.
The reason is so many people get paid on the first of the month and wait until they get notification of the deposit to make appointments.
I did that re new reading glasses for an 85 year old. I got in at the right time with the OD trained for this issue. When he finished my exam, he said to hurry up to the fitting
area. as I somehow had an appt for the fitting. I was fitted in about 15 minutes, on my way and will be mailed my new reading glasses, next week.

It’s a big country and it sounds like you are in the wrong line of work at the moment. It’s called Creative Destruction and it’s as old as Capitalism. There are always millions of people doing lousy even during the best economic times.
I used to hear this about “jobs” 50 years ago and ever since. It’s why I decided to work for myself. Why put my life at the mercy of others? If I didn’t make it, I had no one to blame but myself. Best decision ever.

“Learn to code?” I’m not that mean, but reality is inescapable. There’s a record amount of citizen cash in banks. Consumer confidence is high and rising. Unemployment is below 4%. 4 to 5% is considered “full employment”. Real wages are rising for the first time in quite a while. Everything is expensive, yep, we all have that problem. The only thing people gripe about here is the shortage of labor. Business is roaring, help wanted signs everywhere, my custom builder friend has a two-year waiting list, and the farmers (most of our local economy) are doing great. You are unfortunately experiencing an issue in your niche. Hopefully it’s temporary like all the 5-7year real estate crashes I had to work through in my business. Careers have their ups and downs. Hope you find one of the opportunities

I lost my job 10 months ago and as a straight white male, it is almost impossible for me to get a job. DEI is the biggest culprit, but immigration figures in as well since a large number of them hit the D or E buttons of DEI.
Eventually the public union pension funds will only have government bonds to invest in, or foreign corporations. And somebody will ask, "how did this happen?" And the first liberal to blame Trump will win some liberal participation trophy.
Where do you guys live that this is the case? Maybe it’s urban. I hear nothing about that here in a red county (went 65-35% Trump) in blue Colorado.
I’ve been in high tech all of my adult life, since 1978. Almost all in department of defense. I’m fine and don’t have to work anymore but I choose to. I’m relating what I see with my own eyes regarding the changes. 15 years ago our company’s president sent out a letter stating the company (Northrop Grumman) MUST put more women and minorities into leadership positions and they did. My division laid off 1200 *people*, wink, wink, over a one year period starting 3 years after that because management had no clue about the business.
I now work at a company that went public in 2019. I started there in 2017. Our founder is the youngest self made billionaire in America at 28 currently. In 2020 leadership flatly stated our facility in it’s location was THE manufacturer of our product - and they would not be outsourcing anything. That turned out to be a lie. We now have huge manufacturing plants in Thailand and Mexico. We build none of our products in this country now. Whites are being replaced with Indians, Mexicans, Chinese, Nepalese, Loatians and others.
People on green cards who barely speak English are managers and directors. Here is an illustration for you. These foreigners (hardly ever hear that word anymore) go into the restroom, wipe their asses and throw the toilet paper into the trash can because where they come from that’s what you do!
How are my blonde hair blue eyed granddaughters going to compete with these people? My son in law, 35 years old has to work in fast food. Unless you are very skilled white people can’t even get an interview. But unfortunately, this has been the Deep State plan all along. I’ll be dead in a few years and so will America. The experiment is over.
