I don't believe most political fund raising emails I receive. Ok. Imagine you're a scammer and you've harvested a few thousand email addresses. Now...spoof different politicians and send out emails like "This is politician XYZ, they're trying to take away our right to vote!!! Please click here to donate today!" / "Defeat Adam Schiff". Then set up a little "contribute today" link to rake in the cash.
I get emails from Elise Stefanic, Don Jr, Kari Lake, Marsha Blackburn, Marjorie Taylor Greene, President Trump, Secretary Mike Pompeo, Ben Shapiro, James Comer, Jim Jordan, Steve Garvey, Kyle Rittenhouse, Team Abbot, David Horowitz...etc....
Now that's a quick look at my junk mail folder. I would advise nobody EVER make a donation or respond to political contribution emails they receive. If you want to donate to a campaign, go to the official campaign website and make a donation.
Scams scams scams.
