Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

❗️ The Armed Forces have learned to track #Russian Lancets

So far, a rare video has been published by 47 OMBR, whose fighters, with the help of an analyzer that looks for a signal from a UAV, were able to determine the location of the Lancet and open fire.

However, judging by the footage, he was shot down not with small arms, but with the help of the #Swedish Rbs70 universal MANPADS system, which is designed precisely for defeating low-flying air targets.

The lancet by its design would seem to me to be far lest maneuverable than say a FPD. Good against stationary targets but muck less so on mobile ones

Good hit, curious about what zalinsky said yesterday (I believe) that 2 more systems capable of shooting down anything are now in Ukraine?

Any thoughts?

The loss of the radar systems trumps the general, but it also appears that being a muskovite general is not a healthy profession, if a 13th story fall, or fragging doesn’t get you, then a Ukrainian missile will

Aftermath Of Last Night’s Airstrikes
As the U.S. determines what effect 85 strikes against targets in Iraq and Syria had, there were new attacks against Houthi targets in Yemen.

https://www.twz.com/news-features/everything-we-know-about-the-aftermath-of-last-nights-airstrikes

Damage Report
While the Pentagon has yet to release a bomb damage assessment, the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said while 23 militia members were killed in and around Deir Ezzor in eastern Syria, the ultimate damage to their operations was limited.

SOHR stated that 13 militia members were killed in American airstrikes on positions in Al-Mayadeen city while another 10 were killed in airstrikes on positions in Deir Ezzor countryside.

There is an ongoing “state of alert, redeployment and repositioning of Iranian militias and the evacuation of many positions, for fear of more strikes in the coming hours,” SOHR reported.

“The American strikes on Iranian militias in the areas of Deir Ezzor and its countryside caused confusion for those militias, but they do not end the Iranian presence in the region, as Iran has at least 20,000 Syrian and non-Syrian fighters spread over a geographic area extending from Al-Bokamal on the Syrian-Iraqi border, passing through Al-Mayadeen and Deir Ezzor, all the way to Jabal Al-Bushri, the depth of the Syrian desert and the T2 station.”

For those wanting to follow the military action in Gaza.

Hamas is coming back in Northern Gaza, reactivating old tunnels thought destroyed. Sea water is again being used to destroy tunnels in the area, as the IDF is running low on explosives.

In the south, another large Hamas bank was found with many documents.

The National Police of Ukraine have issued a very rare acknowledgment of the interception of a Russian Kh-32 supersonic anti-ship missile in Kharkiv on the night of 1 FEB. Ukraine has repeatedly (falsely) denied the ability of their legacy Soviet AD assets to defeat the Kh-22/32.

https://twitter.com/John_A_Ridge/status/1753951805224947828

The Kh-22 is a large, long-range, air-launched, anti-ship missile.

Guidance system is inertial guidance followed by terminal active radar homing. Radar homing would not be used when attacking land targets.

Accuracy is 100-300 meters (no GPS assist).

Attack speed Mach 3.5 - Mach 4.6.

Operational range is 320 nm.

Difficult but not impossible to shoot down.

I had assumed the B-1Bs had employed AGM-158 JASSMs, but it seems they were loaded with 2,000 lb-class GBU-38 JDAMs

https://twitter.com/John_A_Ridge/status/1753924098126725515

JDAMs instead of AGM-158 JASSMs would indicate that U.S. ELINT determined no long range SAMs in the target area.

F-18s would launch pre-emptive HARMs.

Putin promised Trump to “surrender” Iran in exchange for Ukraine. The message will be delivered by Tucker Carlson

According to our sources in the Kremlin, the corresponding message from our president to the American journalist who came to Russia has already been conveyed by a person from Vladimir Vladimirovich’s team.

“The message is simple. Vladimir Vladimirovich promised to “calm down” Iran and the Houthis so that they would not pose any threat to the United States and its satellites in the Middle East. And he expects that Trump, after winning the Presidential election, will stop all assistance to Ukraine and lift at least part of the sanctions from our country. Tucker liked the offer. In his opinion, there is a chance that Trump will accept this proposal,” one of the interlocutors said.

Trump will also be given a proposal to meet with Putin and influence the International Court in The Hague so that it cancels the arrest warrant for Vladimir Vladimirovich.

We wrote that Iran does not want Trump to come to power, remembering his previous presidency.

The only question is whether we will find something to replace Iranian weapons, which are now actively used in hostilities against Ukraine. But the Kremlin is not worried about this now.

TC now paid stooge for Putin.

Question: will Trump be stupid enough to take Putin’s “offer” which smacks of desperation with undertones of blackmail?

Bodies and fragments of bodies of 30-35 dead were found at the Novocherkassk landing ship

The ship, which was hit by an enemy missile in December, began to be raised from the bottom in Feodosia. According to Black Sea Fleet sources familiar with the operation, the losses suffered as a result of the strike may be more serious than first thought.

“Unfortunately, everything is very scary. More than 20 bodies of our sailors were found. Many body fragments were also found. It seems that at least 30-35 people died on Novocherkassk. This data will still be clarified, pending examination. Plus, we obviously haven’t found all the bodies and fragments of bodies yet,” said one of our interlocutors.

The figure, he said, cannot be considered final, since “many of the dead seem to have simply burned to death, and, unfortunately, their bodies will never be discovered.”

Let us note that earlier our sources spoke of 23 deaths as a result of the attack on Novocherkassk. According to new data, there may be more victims.

At the same time, fragments of the Caliber missile were found on the ship. This is confirmed by our insider information - these missiles were on Novocherkassk at the time of the attack.

Russians are afraid of the demobilization of SVO participants from the army. Important polling data is being hidden from Putin

The story of the demobilization of the SVO participants takes an unexpected turn. We have repeatedly written that the President wants to carry out partial demobilization before the elections and send home from 10 to 20 thousand military personnel who were mobilized to participate in hostilities. The generals are against it. They present their arguments, not always convincing, but they exist.

Vladimir Vladimirovich wants to hear the voice of the people - that the people support him, and are also “for” demobilization. Attempts to publicly declare the need for demobilization have already been made by the wives and relatives of the mobilized, but without a large scale it is difficult to notice them.

Therefore, in order to find out the real mood of Russians, they conducted a special opinion poll. We surveyed 2.5 thousand of our citizens. And the results, it must be admitted, exceeded all expectations.

Statistics showed that the majority of Russians (84%) support the demobilization of soldiers from the front. At the same time, very few (only 8%) agree that they or their loved ones take the vacant positions at the front.

Further more, more than half of those surveyed (59%) admitted that they fear the return of military personnel from the front, and 65% of survey participants even expect the crime situation in their cities and towns to worsen after demobilization.

The operators, by the way, noted that some of the respondents by the end of the conversation were not so sure of the need for demobilization.

It is curious that the results of these polls do not yet show Vladimir Putin. Sergei Shoigu knows about them and really wants to get them at his disposal.

The fact is that the results of these opinion polls give the military another argument against demobilization - the military should not be allowed to go home, so as not to provoke an increase in criminality in the rear.

Of course, logic can be found in such arguments. But all this is somehow inhumane...

Upshot: once mobilized and sent to the front, you can never return home ... alive.

SpaceX
Boca Chica site is in jeopardy now that the state appeals court has ruled that various enviro wacko groups have standing; the decision says these idiots’ arguments have merit and the case can proceed.

This case could effectively end StarShip development and set the programs back years, if not decades, until a new development site is found and built.

The case targets the agencies which give SpaceX permission to shut the beaches.

They want to stop SpaceX from closing the beach because Texas voted to have the 2009 Open Beaches Amendment in its Constitution. Which the frequent closures by SpaceX violates. The law is meant to stop developers from building industrial sites on the beaches0.

The case is likely funded by deep-pocket wackos like the Sierra Club, who could care less about space and China on the moon. They only care about their power and getting locally ‘endangered species’ protected.
