The Russian army has taken the highest losses in one day over the course of the war as offensive battles in Avdiivka and Kherson prove catastrpohic. After the 18th Ramstein, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced that Ukraine would receive six Sea King helicopters from the German military reserve.
23.01.2024 Canada:
Canadian Defense Minister Bill Blair said that his country will provide Ukraine with 10 multi-functional inflatable vessels worth a total of USD 15 million and will allocate an ADDITIONAL USD 11.5 million for training Ukrainian pilots on F-16s.
Canada will also increase its contribution to the “fighter jet coalition” by providing civilian personnel, instructors and training aircraft to train Ukrainian pilots.
“This support is estimated at approximately CAD 15 million (about USD 11.5 million). Training will begin in February 2024 and will last until 2025,” the ministry added.
Blair also announced Canada’s participation in two coalitions of forces and capabilities that will be part of the Contact Group on Ukraine’s defence: The Armour Coalition and the Air Force Coalition.
Finally, the minister noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had also received other previously announced aid, including small arms and ammunition that meet NATO standards, as well as winter clothing and equipment. More such shipments will be sent in the coming weeks.
It is known that the supply of helicopters will begin in the second quarter of 2024.
According to Pistorius, the Sea King helicopters will help Ukraine with everything from surveillance of the Black Sea to transportation of soldiers.
“To protect the Ukrainian people and infrastructure, air defense continues to be the No. 1 priority. We also need more speed in weapons production,” Pistorius said.

Russia sacrifices 400 soldiers to seize 1 square kilometer of Ukrainian land – Umierov

When capturing 1 square kilometer of Ukrainian territory, Russia loses 400 soldiers. This was stated by Defense Minister Rustem Umierov during a meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine.
“They sacrifice an average of 400 soldiers in exchange for one square kilometer of land. Since our last meeting, Russia has lost more than 54,000 soldiers. However, the enemy has unlimited mobilization resources,” the minister said.
The enemy also used six times more artillery shells than the Ukrainian forces. At the same time, according to Umerov, even with a sixfold artillery advantage, the enemy was unable to achieve at least some significant results.
The defense minister said that in the last two months alone, Russia has fired more than 600 missiles and more than 1,000 Shaheds at Ukrainian cities. The number of “Shaheds” launched has increased by more than a third, but the effectiveness of Ukrainian air defense against Russian missile attacks has also increased by a third, the minister emphasized.

I suggest you fight your “war” in the US then. This struggle is entirely political and does not require the vast stocks of US Army reserve equipment.
