It is not money, it is not the law( the existing laws, just like in most areas are sufficient if enforced), it’s political and by political I mean deep state wants it that way.
The cost to actually enforce the existing laws and secure the border (fences, walls, surveillance…) is not the problem. Look at the numbers being thrown around in congress, and if the funds are passed the border invasion will still not stop till the political will ihappens.
We could line up every abrams, Bradley and Stryker side by side covering the border, but if the order to stop them is not made then it would mean nothing
That is what we have now and aid to Ukraine is having no effect on that
