The Jerusalem Post decided it was a good idea to twist the Israel-Hamas war into a whining session about how the Jewish state’s military offensive was contributing to the so-called “climate crisis.” Talk about straining at a gnat and swallowing a camel.
“Climate crisis on Gaza battlefield: CO2 emissions surge from Israel-Hamas war,” read The Post’s ludicrous Jan. 14 headline. It didn’t take long for the liberal outlet to then wokescold Israel’s retaliatory strikes against Hamas following the terror group’s Oct. 7th genocide against the Jewish people as somehow exacerbating climate change. “Some 99% of these emissions were attributed to Israel’s aerial and ground operations against Hamas in Gaza,” cried The Post. First, who with a functioning prefrontal cortex would expect war to be environmentally friendly? Secondly, how dare Israel wage a war after Hamas raped, pillaged, kidnapped and murdered hundreds of its citizens because of the supposed climate impact, right Jerusalem Post?
The newspaper couldn’t stop itself from trying to guilt Israel over the alleged climate footprint of its military operations. It based its entire premise on an admittedly non-peer-reviewed study co-authored by Climate and Community Project (CCP) Research Director Patrick Bigger, who lambasted Israel: “‘There is very clearly an emissions asymmetry here, in the same way, that there are a lot of asymmetries in this conflict.’”
What The Post failed to disclose, however, was that Bigger’s group is admittedly anti-Israel. “Ceasefire now, ceasefire forever: No climate justice without Palestinian freedom and self-determination,” read the headline of a Dec. 13 anti-Israel CCP report co-authored by Bigger himself.

But, there’s provable carbon reduction with the removal of every Hamas terrorist, the enviros should be happy that they are saving the planet and depopulating while reducing carbon?

I don’t know about everyone else, but I am fed up with hearing about “climate change” and other environmentalist mumbo jumbo. Climate changes all the time, it’s called weather.
No matter how stupid you think homo sapiens can get—they manage to exceed our expectations!

Years ago, it was a bastion of great journalism that gave a voice from all sides of the political spectrum.
today it is a foreign-operated excuse for journalism. It is actually worse then the extreme left Haaretz as at least Haaretz’s writers are capable of writing their own opinions and articles. Jpost is downright juvenile propaganda at this point

Only the hard lefties can tell us repeatedly that we need to save the planet by reducing the population, then get mad when Israel kills people at war with them.
Yes, I think it comes down to a sense of guilt at being better off than others and that it was somehow unearned or due to some luck of the draw of the genetic pool.
The poorly performing groups on the other hand, are infested with envy, and they’re more than glad to further guilt-trip the self-loathers and milk them of all they got.

On the other hand , a new study from the Center for Ecology and Hydrology in Edinburgh is getting big media attention. It suggests that human breathing, including burps and farts, contributes to greenhouse gas emissions, particularly methane and nitrous oxide.
From Hama’s own admitted media accounts, the IDF munitions explosions have caused thousands of Gaza Hamas terrorists to cease breathing.
And yet the Israelis get no credit for this undeniable contribution to the war on global warming.
In fact, the Israelis are fighting a two front war - one front against Hamas terrorism and another front on the war to combat global warming and yet they get no credit for their contributions to eliminate climate change.
And so what if they have to explode a few a few one time CO2 emitting munitions to accomplish this.
Like political fund raising , where we are told it requires spending massive amounts of money on expensive consultant's, private jets, luxury hotels and fine dining to raise more money, it takes the IDF substantial expenditure of short term CO2 emitting munitions to achieve substantial reductions in very beneficial long term terrorist generated CO2 emissions.
Democrats generally call this "investing in the future" and it's a good thing.
And yet, after all this, those darn Jews can never catch a break.

I always thought Reagan had it backwards when he said “Trust, but verify”. I like better “Verify before you trust”.
