Everybody seems to love trees. They provide beauty, shade, and convert carbon in the atmosphere into oxygen. What's not to like? However, there seems to be one very bizarre HATER of trees on this planet. Bill Gates. Did he have some sort of childhood trauma such as falling out of a tree which could explain this very strange animus towards those plants? Or could it be what explains all of Bill Gates' motivations? Flat out greed. As you can see here, it turns out that Bill Gates is in the business of cutting down trees for profit and then just burying them in the ground. Yes, for Bill Gates personal profit trumps everything else. It also explains him pushing vaccines but the moment he got out of that business he instantly stopped promoting them.
What happens when trees are buried?
They rot. My trees go to sawmills.
So the “genius” doesn’t know that he breaths because of trees???
I guess the owls are not important anymore…
It is stupid, and it it’s hateful. It’s a singleminded pursuit of one fringe belief no matter how destructive it is.
I’d burn those trees, my own self. That is, if there was some nuts and insane reason I couldn’t send them to the sawmill and make a few bucks.
It’s now one of those days that’s covered over by saying Happy Holidays like Flag Day, Mothers Day, and Toyotathon. That new greeting doesn’t specify which holidays they want us to be happy about.
Somebody correct me if I’m wrong but don’t dead rotting trees release Co2?
Oak works great for BBQs.
That’s funny, cause I have a bizarre hatred of Bill Gates.
They do. The Forest Practice rules in this area require that branches (slash) be lopped or cut so they are within about 3 ft of the ground. Termites and other bugs break down the wood and eventually (few years) they’re on the ground and rot quickly. After 5 yrs there’s nothing left. The CO2 is recycled by trees so we dont choke.
He’s from what they call the Evergreen State, Washington. It is called Evergreen because of all the trees. Maybe he’s always just hated looking at them all because they’re everywhere.
No where near as much as plain old lawn grass. Like an order of magnitude better. My dinky front lawn (which never dies out here in CaCaLand) provides enough O2 for my entire family.
Consider that in contrast to the established CaCaLand law that pays neighbors to replace their lawns with plastic turf — to decrease use of water.
I’d bet anything that Gates’ behavior is based upon some asinine law somewhere.
Did you miss the part where declared he doesn't plant trees?
Be sure to sharpen it first. No vasoline.
1) Cut down mature trees.
2) Use then to make housing materials, furniture, heat homes, etc
3) Plant new trees.
4) When the new trees mature, GOTO (1)
2) Bury them, so they don’t release the carbon back into the atmosphere. Is insane, beyond idiotic. Doing a disservice to the word ‘stupid’.
don’t dead rotting trees release Co2?

Co2 feeds the forest.
Gates is that jealous trees have much better personalities and are less stiff and awkward and are much more friendly and likeable than he is.
Gates is just jealous that trees have much better personalities and are less stiff and awkward and are much more friendly and likeable than he is.
Maybe this is not too hard to believe ... quite some time back I read an article on BGs home. It seems that he bought out many surrounding home sites and razed them. One suggestion was that he was prepping for when his home is assaulted by the peasants and wanted a clear killing zone around his place.
As I said, maybe not as far out as I originally thought.
I remember the TV commercials promoting trees.
Trees: The Renewable Resource.
Seems people have forgotten that. Course, people are lazy these days and don’t want to rake so they cut down trees in suburban neighborhoods and don’t replace them.
