“SCOTUS had 8+ years to rule on this when Barack Hussein Obama was nominated twice ..”

Don’t be such a j@cka$$! DID they rule on it? you know that they didn’t

If our “wonderful US Constitution intended the definition of NBC as having both parents” ,’blah, blah, blah
WHY did the Framers make a distinction between citizens and natural born Citizens for the office of the Presidency?

It is not even complicated. By NOT ruling on Obama’s eligibility for 2 terms, a precedence has been set for future candidates.

The difference between naturalized citizens and NBC is very clearly defined in constitution. Naturalized person was a citizen of some other country, came to USA and acquired citizenship through legal naturalization process. Natural born citizen definition is crystal clear in the constitution, someone who is a citizen from birth and not through naturalization. Since Obama produced a Hawaii certificate, he was construed natural born.

Nowhere does the constitution mentions anything about citizenship of parents in the context of eligibility to become president.
