I remember when my best friend pulled her two boys out of public school and into Catholic school. The younger one came home telling her about Kwanza and how it was just as good of a holiday as Christmas. She had to sit down and tell him no, Kwanza is a made up junk holiday.
Mayor Eric Adams of NYC will find out about those vacated schools and fill them to the rafters with his beloved illegal criminal invaders. After all, he kicked kids out of their own school building to do that, forcing the poor kids to learn via Zoom (IOW, learn NOTHING).
And yet, we willfully send them to, and pay for, public universities which teach the same, or worse, perversion.
Yet their budgets keep going up at 2x the inflation rate. Public schools are the biggest mess in America.
Which is really sad, the reform should be championed by the Republican Party. We shouldn't wait every 100 years for minor reforms due to pandemics.
Skip that too. Unless you’re doing a hard science college is useless.
My son attended a small private engineering university that is unknown to most because they don’t waste time with football, but very well known in his specialized field.
They don’t screw around with diversity training etc. they mess around with academics.
No worries, the illegals will fill them up.
This has been going on for a very long time. I had a co-worker in San Diego who owned a home in the upscale Scripps Ranch community. Very high property taxes assessed to support the schools. Her daughter was looking forward to attending the schools in Scripps Ranch. That hope met harsh reality as she discovered her daughter was sitting in a desk in the hallway OUTSIDE of her classroom. Inside, the seats were filled with the children of illegals. Her only recourse was to remove her daughter from the public school and pay for private school. She had to pay for both the private school and the taxes that support the public school full of illegals.
That and the 'How else my kids gonna eat' crowd.
Schools will become Immigration Centers and Soup Kitchens.
Rest assured, loss of students will not lead to the reduction of anything that lessens the power of the Teacher's Union.
Bingo. That’s what’s been going on in Chicago for decades. They then get more Federal dollars for every poverty kid case, teachers unions stay intact and demand increasing salaries and benefits from the taxpayers and then contribute to the democrat party reelection campaign funds regularly, ad infinitum. A total racket that turns out ever worsening performance in a deteriorating school system.

if they taught important things, not teach to pass stupid tests and agendas they should be able to accommodate all eligible Citizen kids.
They could probably cut out or shorten some classes if not including woke agenda. Maybe come up with a double sessions per day use in buildings or similar?
Maybe your schools are teaching the woke stuff and wasting your tax payer dollars, or whining for more help to accommodate kids who should not even be attending as well?
Florida isn’t free, you are self deluded if you think it is.
