Sometimes, Comrades, the comedy writes itself.

Anyone who's ever been a high-school student knows that this was not a happy accident—in the tradition of Animal House, students will hatch simple but brilliant schemes, innocently submit them to administrators, then watch the compliant rubes enthusiastically bring the plot to fruition.
BUT THAT'S NOT ALL: old Joe also ran afoul of an embarrassing sign:

Just stating the obvious! LOL!
Couple of days ago I was in a WalMart.
Paper towels have been 50 cents forever.
I used to buy 10-20 at a time.
Now 94 cents. Up 88% under Joe Biden.
When every item in your cart is up 29%, 50% etc. it definitely makes a difference.
Both versions of the headline can be true.
bttt
My guess is that Biden will notice inflation....on election day.
The person rung it up and muttered the total. I wasn't paying close attention, but I thought "Did I just hear that?" And I said "Excuse me. How much?"
"That will be $8.69."
My mouth dropped open and eyes bugged out. I said: "What???? is that correct?"
It was.
Oh my gosh
I have always bought the Great Value storebrand steak sauce at Walmart. Acceptable alternative to pricy A-1 or Heinz 57.
Wss .99 cents forever. Now $2.50 !!!
That’s almost a 153% increase!
The price is now almost 253% of what you originally paid; 100% (of original price) would still be .99
(I may not be awake yet.... LOL)
Yesterday at our local market I went to pick up a six pack of my fav soda. What used to be 4.99 was now 8.99 according to the tag. I thought the tag probably said that was the two for price. No, the tag said down a dollar to 8.99 meaning the now normal price is 9.99.
Not just the soda. Found a bag of non salted shelled peanuts. 2 lbs used to be 3.49. The new price is 2.50. I thought, must be a bumper crop. No, the old bag was 2 lbs., the new one is 1lb! So, the new equal amount is the equal of $5 for what used to be 3.49, not counting for the difference in packaging of course.
