The Washington Post should know that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Continuing to tell voters they’re ignorant for not appreciating the Biden economy is case in point.
“The economy is improving under Biden. But many voters aren’t giving him credit,” read The Post’s condescending Jan. 14 headline. But that was just the start of The Post’s nonsense, which took six authors to spit out.
It proceeded to cite data points without context to prop up President Joe Biden’s cadaver of an economy: “By many measures, the U.S. economy is a great success story — recession fears have fallen, along with gas prices and the unemployment rate, while manufacturing construction is up along with nominal wages and the stock market.”
Except, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon just warned that the U.S. economy looks like the dreaded stagflation era of the 1970s; Reuters reported in December that U.S. manufacturing was “mired in weakness” and forecasted the economy as “heading for slowdown.”
In fact, the New York Federal Reserve’s Empire State business-conditions index "sank in January to the lowest level since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, perhaps a sign of trouble brewing for the U.S. economy," according to MarketWatch. In addition, American households are having to spend an extra $11,434 a year just to maintain the standard of living they had in January 2021. Housing is also suffering. CNN reported in November that this was “the least affordable housing market since 1984. It’s getting worse.”
All of this somehow spells a “great success story," but those dumb plebeians just aren’t getting it, implied The Post in its propaganda.

Demanding an increased credit limit on your credit cards is not prosperity. When you default on your credit cards it’s hardly unanticipated on the part of the banks.

When people can’t pay their credit cards, the bank doesn’t eat that cost. It just increases rates and the rest of us pay.

For a LOT of people, inflation and other wallet-busting expenses have FAR out-paced income. And QuidProJoe Biden is the main party responsible for that.
But idiots believe the Lame-stream media - and have short memories that have forgotten that just prior to the COVID SCAM-demic, the US was seeing one of the greatest economic booms blossoming in a century. The very metrics that the Democrats like to use - were being crushed:
1- the number of minority-owned businesses was exploding.
2 - the so-called “wage gap” was closing faster than at any point in history.
3 - overall wages were increasing faster than inflation.
4 - GDP was up
5 - unemployment for minorities was at an all-time low.
There is a very strategic reason for the PLANdemic and its timing. And we have seen in the last 4 years the exact reason: it completely derailed an election, allowing the greatest electoral fraud in US history be take place. And it played people’s stupidity and short attention spans (and memory) - as they don’t even remember they were bamboozled - and can’t remember the exploding prosperity before COVID and the “Summer of Love” - aka the REAL insurrection launched by the rabid Leftists across America.

This “Improving’ Economy” is exactly I would expect the Washington Compost to tout even though the exact opposite is true.
The reason nobody buys in to Bidenomics is we go to the grocery store and pay 150% of what it used to cost before Biden 3 years ago, and everything else has increased about that much too.
Gaslighting Bullshittery only works when people don’t believe their own eyes.
