Apple is in dire straits.
There are 1.5 billion people in China and many of them can afford to buy a new iPhone every year or two.
They used to buy them, but they don’t anymore, because the US is a hostile country and using an iPhone is increasingly being viewed as very unpatriotic.

As someone else said “choosing” in China is not an option.

If they want to sell stuff here then we need to own the intellectual property just like them.
The world's advanced,civilized,affluent countries/regions...the US,Europe,Japan,Korea,etc...made a huge mistake in the 1980s/1990s by allowing Chinese made goods into their ports. Now China is a huge threat to world peace...and the world economy.

Most of it is our stuff. We need Trump back in the WH to put tarrifs on imports from China to make stuff produced here more palatable
