Chris Christie. 35 votes.
Done done done.
We likely won’t be seeing him again.

Headlines later: “In an insane bid to try and increase his campaign standings, Chris Christie tries to eat his opponents in order to absorb their power.”

He’s a mighty big presence on the political scene. He carries a lot of weight.
Do you think Crispy will go away suddenly, or fade out slowly like an eclipsed massive solar system object?

Vivek was too smooth. I don’t trust politicians with easy answers because they are not taking risks.
For Christie that picture of him on the beach, during Covid, while everybody else had to stay home was the fork, I think.

Vivek would make a good secretary of transportation.

Hope someone here can compile a few like the night Hillary was not installed as President and that Trump fellow won.
Pure gold.

I’m not discounting Vivek’s talents or intelligence. I’ve just learned over the years that smoothing talking people tend to not be invested in their positions, because there is no consequence for them. People who have a serious chance of winning their elections have to give serious positions, because they may have to be responsible for actually fulfilling promises. Glib people, on the other hand, can just walk away because they know they likely will not win their election.
Rush never ran for office. He was just a talking head, so he could he could state positions without worrying about being held accountable for the. Same with Buckley. Neither man had the expectation about them fulfilling promises.
