BREAKING: The man who has been filing lawsuits in every state to get Donald Trump removed from the 2024 election ballot has been arrested & charged with filing 17 sets of false tax documents to the IRS
In total, John Anthony Castro has been charged with 33 counts of aiding the preparation of false tax returns. Prosecutors claim he ran a virtual tax preparation business that provided customers with tax returns beyond what they were actually owed, defrauding the government.

He did what? He’s a hero for filing against the vile Trump. Punishment should be a firm slap on the wrist or a week on probation; the other monies are easily recovered by raising taxes.

It seems odd that it took 5 years to file charges against this man.
They just let him continue to defraud the government for 5 years after they determined he was running a tax fraud operation.
Now I suppose that they are going to have charge all of his customers now some of whom would not have broke the law had they shut this guy down in 2018.

If the CID of the IRS ran a sting operation in 2018, why did they wait until now to prosecute him?
Answer, because he went after Trump, they deferred prosecution.
This really smells of weaponized IRS. Notice the fraud case was with the Washington DC office of the IRS.
No IRS criminal case would take 2018 to 2024 to surface. This case was slow moved as long as he kept filing suits against Trump.
Now we know why Biden fought to keep IRS funding in the budget...

They do this because they want the penalties and interest to rack up. That, and they are incompetent. That's how they roll.

I think the Feds were using him as an entrapment scheme.
Word would get around about this guy being able to get you a big return.
People would trust this guy because he would have people telling how they have used him for years.
