The climate fanatics at The Washington Post treated an old oxymoronic article claiming that man-made global warming causing more Alaska blizzards as front-page news.
The Post took its Dec. 16 eco-propaganda headlined, “As Alaska’s climate gets wetter, snowstorms put the homeless in peril,” and plastered it onto the front page of the Jan. 8 print edition of the newspaper. Yes, you read that right. The newspaper just broke old news. Apparently, regurgitating weeks-old agitprop was more important to the newspaper than the recent disturbing news that Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin hid his hospitalization for days without DOD officials or President Joe Biden knowing about it. Instead, The Post pushed the controversy to page A3 of The Post’s print edition. Talk about NOT getting one’s priorities straight.
The Alaska piece doom-mongered over the “recent onslaught of extreme precipitation,” which so-called climate scientists reportedly “predict will worsen as the atmosphere warms.” Strikingly, the leftist media writ large can’t get their stories straight and are trying to have their cake and eat it too. Reuters, for example, published another story around the same time as The Post’s article claiming “global warming” led to no snow in Canada. Huh? So either global warming either causes too much snow or no snow at all. Which one is it? Even The New York Times recently published an op-ed by contributing Opinion writer Elizabeth Spears predicting “The End of Snow” because of climate change.
As JunkScience.com founder Steve Milloy told MRC Business, that any problem, natural phenomenon or societal ill can somehow be blamed on climate change if climate activists butcher common sense hard enough.

Homeless? In Alaska?
What a bunch of Horse Hockey.
Towering writer, Michael Crichton, is himself a scientist, a doctor who does not practice medicine.
In September 2005, Crichton testified on climate change before the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works.
Crichton testified his doubts that human activities are significantly contributing to global warming, and encouraged U.S. lawmakers to more closely examine the methodology of climate science before voting on policy.
His testimony received praise from Republican Senator Jim Inhofe, and criticism from Democratic Senator Hillary Clinton.
Yes, there are homeless in AK - in Anchorage. Saw the tent encampment on a city tour last year. That was in September, though, so perhaps when the weather chills, they head down to the lower states.
WaPo! The New International Enquirer. Look for it today at your neighborhood self-checkout counters! Aliens Meet Joe Xidenskyyyyy!
Must have been crazy hot when there were glaciers in Ohio.
There needs to be accountability in the journalism profession or just replace them all with AI.
I thought everything was going to be a desert? I can’t keep this stuff straight.
Remember when there were Seasons ,LOL
Yes Crichton wrote a good book about a nefarious plot masquerading as a part of the climate hysteria. Very informed and believable. We lost a great storyteller when he died.
Lets’ face it, conservatives suck at getting any message out. We should be inundated with counter ads on TV, radio streaming apps etc that outline FACTS and the lies of the left. From Russia collusion to Jan 6th the right f’d it away as usual... conservative news sites, like liberal news sites are seldom if ever seen by the opposition. Liberal news sites far out number the conservative ones but there’s no reason why the messages needed can’t be put out for all to see.
Be nice to see an actual debate on climate change on live TV where FACTS vice BS could be presented.
And in 1976-1977 that brutal cold and snowy fall and winter was blamed on THE COMING ICE AGE!
The Washington Compost lives up to it’s name agaim.
I watch Life Below Zero and I get a kick out of watching those folks go through their routeen but when the weather acts up or the Salmon isn’t as many as they think it should be or the Caribou has shifted to another part of Alaska it is always Climate Change..I think they are told to say that, they live off the land but somehow have thousands of gasoline driven equipment.
We just got 7 inches of climate change here in north Idaho with more on the way, accompanied by several days of sub zero global warming.
Crichton did everything......novelist , screenwriter and filmmaker. His books have sold over 200 million copies worldwide, and over a dozen have been adapted into films.
His literary works heavily feature technology and are usually within the science fiction, techno-thriller, and medical fiction genres.
Crichton’s novels often explore human technological advancement and attempted dominance over nature, both with frequently catastrophic results; many of his works are cautionary tales, especially regarding themes of biotechnology.
Several of his stories center specifically around themes of genetic modification, hybridization, paleontology and/or zoology. Many feature medical or scientific underpinnings, reflective of his own medical training and scientific background.
Crichton received an M.D. from Harvard Med School but has never practiced medicine.
We have “climate refugees” streaming over the southern border by the millions. They come from warm, hospitable climates. Where are they now? In the far north USA freezing their asses off wishing for some of that climate catastrophe to warm up Chicago and NYC.
“Homeless? In Alaska?”
The solution is simple. Buy them one-way tickets to nice, warm, balmy Mexico. Ours can replace theirs.
Paraphrasing Homer Simpson: Global warming, is there anything it can’t do?
