VIDEO: How Did You Spend January 6 Remembrance Day?

VIDEO

January 6, 2001. It was the WORST day in the history of the world. Like Pearl Harbor and 9/11 combined multiplied by a million only even worse. So how did you spend the third anniversary of January 6? Did you gather your family together and show prayerful thanks that OUR DEMOCRACY only barely survived that insurrection? Or did you participate on one of the many January 6 Remembrance Day Sales taking place at many stores around the country? I myself found one of the January 6 Remembrance Day sales quite moving. My favorite meat market, in recognition of of January 6 Remembrance Day, had Picanha steak on sale for just $3.99/lb. I was quite moved by this since the normal price is about $7.99/lb so I bought over seven pounds which I will cook up for a belated January 6 Remembrance Day BBQ party I am planning for next weekend. The meat will be brined overnight in salty Kinzinger tears. I am extending an open invitation to Chris Wray to this BBQ so he can entertain us by reciting from his J6 canon: "I am sure you can appreciate that I can't comment upon an open investigation."

On January 6, 2021, the United States Capitol Building in Washington, D.C., was attacked by a mob of supporters of then-U.S. president Donald Trump, two months after his defeat in the 2020 presidential election.

I spent the day in quiet contemplation, reflecting how it was even more serious than March 1, 1954, when Puerto Rican nativists opened fire from the House gallery, shooting five congressman.

How Did You Spend January 6 Remembrance Day?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, I don’t really like remembering the day that a coup was executed on the American people through a fraudulent election and then setting up the rightful winner and putting his supporters in jail. However, I’ll remember yesterday for another reason... got a call at noon from our son who was letting us know that we were proud grandparents of a beautiful baby girl.....
I spent most of the day either flying or in a layover. Read an entire book. I did think a bit about the January 6 rally because I was one of the 2,000,000 patriots who actually attended.
I remember after Trump screamed at the crowd to run to the Capitol at full speed with instructions to destroy.
Oh wait, that’s the narrative. In actuality, we could barely hear Trump speak because the Park Service had a substandard sound system. So we joined a few hundred thousand others and ambled toward the Capitol 2 miles away. It was at least a 45 minute walk.
There we joined others in Cheering Trump and imploring congress to take a pause and investigate. Same with Coward Pence.
I remember the smell of teargas and the whoomph of the flashbangs Capitol Police were recklessly tossing into a loud large peaceful crowd. The idiots threw teargas into the wind so they caught much of it.
When it was over, I remember walking to the car and finding out some people had entered the building and thinking that was kind of dumb.
I remember my disabled soldier buddy who’s wheelchair broke and the stupid DC Metro cop not allowing us to drive in to rescue him.
He just said No. I asked what solution he had to offer and he ignored me.
As a result, I lost all respect to DC Metro and Capitol police. All complete poorly trained uncaring idiots.
I spent it like everybody else... plotting revenge against all those that have even slightly different political views. The heretics must burn! ;-)
I celebrated Ashli Babbitt Day by watching President Trump address a crowd in Clinton, Iowa. The day before, I watched Brandon’s speech, then saw Trump address a crowd in Sioux Center, Iowa.
