It was not the first time that Carlson, the 53 year old heir to the Swanson TV dinner fortune, had challenged American support for Ukraine’s wartime leader. On the first episode of his online program following his firing from Fox News, Carlson described Zelensky, who is Jewish, as “sweaty and rat-like, a comedian turned oligarch, a persecutor of Christians, a friend of Blackrock.”
He also referred to him as “shifty,” “dead-eyed,” and as “a person who would enjoy flooding villages or starting a famine.”
“It’s painful to even quote that,” said Ian Bremmer of the Eurasia group, in a response to Carlson’s statements. “These are all antisemitic dog-whistles, with a sprinkling of blood libel, plain and simple.”
The Anti-Defamation League also denounced Carlson’s comments about Zelensky as antisemitic: “This is exactly the type of dangerous, hateful content that has no place in mainstream public squares,” the group said.

Jul 21, 2023 — Putin claims that western Poland is gift from Stalin. "The western territories of present-day Poland are a gift from Stalin to the Poles, have our friends in Warsaw forgotten about this? We will remind you," Putin threatened at a meeting with members of the Russian security council on July 21.
Not that Ukraine is a Christian republic itself.
Putin can lament all he wants but Russia doesn’t have the military strength to go much beyond where they are now nor do they want to. They may pick up Odessa and use that as a bargaining chip because Ukraine needs access to the sea.
So does French law. And German. And Japanese. And basically all countries. Almost every country has a similar law of return.
What’s your point? Other than you are a pathetic antisemite who lives in a trailer?
Indeed, and the world abounds with liberal Jews who are no friends to anyone of God. Yet the issue here with Carlson is the isolationist fantasy that we should just focus on the issues at home, meaning domestic enemies. As if external enemies as Islam are not a threat, and in which Israel is a rare and the most formidable ally in the Middle East. And much of the US aid given to it comes back via purchases of military hardware, etc. Carlson (despite being right on other issues) even criticized Trump for executing a notorious Iranian general. And defends Putin who boasts of nuking the US and would censor FR, as he does evangelicals (etc.) from acting as they should . And defense of Putin extended to asserting "The Italians, in other words, are in a better position to take over the world than Vladimir Putin" since the former have a larger economy.
Well, Tucker could be isolationist and anti-Semitic..
Yet he looks to China.
A case of divided loyalties.
Birds of a feather...
Yep, it’s the same tactic. A way to inoculate yourself from any criticism.
It’s the “victims” game.
Tucker and Shapiro should easily find common ground asking why US and Israeli tax dollars have ever been spent pumping water, electricity and fuel into the Gaza stip. There are no good answers.
Tucker already said he’s voting for Trump unless he has Nikki as his VP.
exactly. Personally, I don't really care one way or another about Jewish folk. I don't buy the whole "jews control the world" crap. BUT when you see how quickly even untouchable folk on the left such as the bitch at Harvard get shut down completely for stepping stepping on Jewish toes, it does make you think a bit. Makes you go "hmmmmm". You don't have to be an anti-semite to recognize actual power being exercised.
Re: 119 - sometimes it is hard work to think and write critically. Mainly, I believe, because we are bombarded with so much information or speakers that claim their opinion is authoritative / correct / etc.
So we end up with insults, sometimes threats against posters, etc. It’s a sure fire sign of poor critical thinking skills. One of my favourites is a couple of posters that routinely label someone a “$hot $hill” in the COVID-19 vaccine debate in particular and vaccines in general.
Once again, Tucker and Saagar Enjeti prove themselves to be lying POST pounding the table and ignoring the facts. There is no contradiction in supporting Ukraine or Israel and protecting the US. Those who do so believe that stopping Iran ad Russia protects the US and our interests. Tucker and Saagar Enjeti are well aware that other conservatives believe this. The two just believe that they have an absolute right to lie and to play victim when called on it. They are mirror-image cultural marxists having a circle jerk is a safe place.
Zelinsky is Jewish. Attacking him or Jewish supporters of Uraine for it is antisemitic
Soros isn’t Jewish. Zelinsky is Jewish, but he isn’t persecuting Christians. He is shutting down the KGB Orthodox Church. The Russian Orthodox Church was recreated in 1942 by Stalin. Patriarch Kirill of Moscow is a KGB agent with the former codename of Mikhailov. The KGB Church in Ukraine is an open fifth column and means of espionage. Countries at was with the Nazis closed German churches loyal to Germany without being anti-Christian. Tucker and other neo-KGB collaborators have forgotton that the KGB is anti-Christian and Kirill helped spread the cultural marxist poison in Latin America.
Yes, we are well aware of just how much mentally ill antisemites spread the stupidest of delusional lies.
Yes, Jews get elected to Congress. None of them are dual citizens right now. The only American member of Congress to ever have dual citizenship with Israel was Rahm Emanuel, who moved to Israel, joined the IDF, and acquired Israeli citizenship.
