My husband made puff pastry from scratch once. We decided to always buy it, from then on :-)
Mine was so nice, I decided that I would always make it from scratch if I can do it far enough ahead of time. It wasn’t hard, just time consuming. Now the mushrooms to cover the tenderloin with was another thing. I don’t have a food processor, so that was done by hand, too. It was a labor of love, that Beef Wellington. It was fabulous, though. Just beautiful.
