How can this Dr. Seuss drawing be "racist," when it looks exactly like real life Africans? If progressives want "diversity," how can they be against this drawing?

The issue is never the issue.
The issue is always The Revolution.

When I was in Theodor Geisel’s study and admiring his library I asked him why he had so many Dr. Seuss books, I was surprised at the answer.

The answer, I believe is that they want the disadvantaged (as the left defines the term) to be shown at their best. However, those who are advantaged may be shown at their worst.

It turned out he was Dr Seuss, which surprised me of course.
As a little boy, it never occurred to me that I would be in Dr Seuss’s house talking to him.

Liberals actually hate seeing non-whites in traditional garb and traditional grooming.

Hi-ho hi-ho it’s off to eork we go!
I had to look up and to see if “eork” was some silly word Dr.Seuss made up!
But seriously I honestly only recall reading the “Cat in the Hat” for about 5 minutes... probably over at a cousins house. We never had those books around, I don’t think my parents saw the need to throw money at stupid stuff. Money was tight in our household, invested. Mom was financially taken care of when dad fell over dead at 63.

I remember when missionaries home on furlough showed those “films” in church. Especially the ones from Liberia.
