“If we’re to preserve the Republic, it’s going to require Christians in this country to once again understand the times and know what to do,” Perkins stated.
He continued, “And it’s not to shrink back in silence. It’s not to be intimidated. It’s not to feel threatened. It’s not even to be angry. It is to step forward with clarity and with boldness. We’ve got a Constitution. We have truth. We know what it is. We have to stand on it. We have to defend it. By no means should we be quiet in this hour. And what is happening to Donald Trump is a travesty. And whether or not you like Donald Trump or not — I happen to like him — but regardless, you need to speak up. The church needs to speak up with a voice and say, ‘This cannot stand. We will not let it stand.’”

In a perfect world, I think churches would focus on the Bible and on the saving of men’s souls.
But in the world I live in, I see a lot of “churches” pushing Marxism, homosexuality, nature worship, and secularism.
It only makes sense at this point for true churches to become openly political and push hard on decency, Christian acceptance in the public sphere, and reverence for the original Constitution which recognizes God-given rights and freedoms.
I want my church to be extreme right-wing. If it isn’t, it’s giving in to the culture that gave us Obama and his fundamental transformation.
The son of perdition is here.
And take what action, hmmm?
DOJ will also be called in for some form of step-up charges against him and the FBI will find countless "victims" of child sexual abuse all linked to him.
All phony of course, however the media campaign against him will be well scripted to the point that every news reader, reads the exact same words and FedGov will gaslight the public into believing this guy's a crook who belongs in jail for the rest of his natural life.
We've seen this script before. Nothing new, I don't think I'm making this up. IRS, DOJ and FBI will follow and refine this script.
Maybe by throwing out the ruling would destroy the Marxist Dem plan to Socialize America. Maybe the Marxist Dems are paying off many Current Republicans to take early retirement or just not run for another term. That would give the Dems control of both the House and Senate so the illegals would be given amnesty and become Marxist Dem voters. The whole reason for open borders is for the Dem vote by illegals.
As Alberta’s Child indicated:
<><>The established USSC ruling in a 2020 electoral vote case
<><>concluded that Texas had no standing to challenge another state’s election process
<><>means that Colorado courts have no legal standing to impose a penalty on Trump
<><>WRT a so-called “insurrection” that
<><>(a) didn’t happen in Colorado,
<><>(b) did not violate Colorado laws, and,
<><>(c) has never been adjudicated in a court of law.
Hummmm... could the Black Robe Regiments are standing up?
“It was Sunday morning early in the year 1776. In the church where Pastor Muhlenberg preached, it was a regular service for his congregation, but a quite different affair for Muhlenberg himself. Muhlenberg’s text for the day was Ecclesiastes 3 where it explains, ‘To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven; a time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted...’”
“Coming to the end of his sermon, Peter Muhlenberg turned to his congregation and said, ‘In the language of the holy writ, there was a time for all things, a time to preach and a time to pray, but those times have passed away.’ As those assembled looked on, Pastor Muhlenberg declared, ‘There is a time to fight, and that time is now coming!’ Muhlenberg then proceeded to remove his robes revealing, to the shock of his congregation, a military uniform.”
“Marching to the back of the church he declared, ‘Who among you is with me?’ On that day 300 men from his church stood up and joined Peter Muhlenberg. They eventually became the 8th Virginia Brigade fighting for liberty.”
“Frederick Muhlenberg, Peter’s brother, was against Peter’s level of involvement in the war. Peter responded to Frederick writing, ‘I am a Clergyman it is true, but I am a member of the Society as well as the poorest Layman, and my Liberty is as dear to me as any man, shall I then sit still and enjoy myself at Home when the best Blood of the Covenant is spilling? ...So far am I from thinking that I act wrong, I am convinced it is my duty to do so and duly I owe to God and my country.”
It puzzles me - what has Trump done to win the hearts and minds of evangelicals?
“ what has Trump done to win the hearts and minds of evangelicals?”
Anyone who hasn’t figured out by now which candidate is on the side of evangelicals is too stupid to vote.

MAGA. Overturned Roe v Wade as he promised. Exhalts the nation’s Christian heritage, etc.
But you would not be such a DeSantis-bot if your head wasn’t three feet up your ass.
I think you are correct. During the unconstitutional lockdowns where atheist governors were mandating that churches close, I sent a long letter to the elder board at my church. The letter discussed where the Governor broke his solemn oath quoting the US and State constitutions. It discussed the Apostle Paul who stood up for his rights as a Roman Citizen when he was jailed.
I discussed heroes of the faith like Ten Boom, Wurmbrandt and Bonhoffer. I then closed by noting correctly that when we voluntarily give up our rights as believers and citizens, those rights will be abrogated time and again until the State controls the church. One way to secure those rights is to teach those rights through scripture and the Constitution.
Of course my proposal was immediately shot down. One literally told me they were concerned about their 501C3 status. He absolutely confirmed my point. Sadly, there don’t seem to be any better churches in our area.
It’s always about the money, it seems.
Well, getting a focus back on good Scriptural teaching and prayer would be a good start.
Most Evangelical churches have abandoned mid week prayer services, which I see coinciding with the deterioration of our government, culture, and society.

^^^^^^^^^^ THIS! Well said and true. ^^^^^^^^^^^
“Overturned Roe v Wade as he promised.”
“In the segment on abortion that went on for nearly 10 minutes, Trump went on to say that he wants to bring Republicans and Democrats together on the subject of abortion, to find a point of compromise “that’s going to make people happy.””
Rah..rah...sis...boom...bah!
