I’m not being smart assed here. But you ask why? For the same reasons YOU are not there today. You probably have a life and cannot abandon your job etc. As a conservative you are also not part of a highly organized hierarchical terrorist movement the way dems are with antifa and BLM. They can mobilize thousands in a few hours.
Also, unlike dems you have NO immunity to terrorist prosecutions from the DOJ and their FBI.
We both know that either of us attending such a mass protest, preventing the work, would unleash a new J6 mass arrest sweep.
Last, mere protests will not work for us. The junta in DC is not responsive to opinion because they were not selected by voters. They came to power in a violent military coup as we have seen around the world.
Advance planning to steal the election? Check
Unleash a trivial bioweapon, magnified by terror-doom propaganda, to justify mail in ballot fraud? Check.
Unleash the BLM summer of hate to further destabilize the country? Check
Stuffing the ballot box to an undeniable degree? Check
Easily commanding the BLM and Antifa shock troops to stay home the days after the election until commanded? Check
A junta of Pelosi, McConnell, Milley, and Pence conspiring to stop the President from having his orders followed? Check
The leader of the US military secretly (from the President) coordinating with communist China? Check
Flooding hundreds of agents and informants into the planned J6 peaceful protest to provoke and start violence? Check
The CIA and FBI supporting the coup with mass censorship and false propaganda? Check
Two divisions of soldiers into the streets, securing the Capitol? Check
“Seizing the radio station” by quickly cutting off Trump from all mass media and social media? Check
Mass arrests across the country of dissenters? Check and ongoing.
We are not living in old America now. This is an oligarchy junta with full support of the bankers, the military and intelligence communities.
While I deeply agree with your sentiment, we do not serve the cause by going to Arlington to be imprisoned for 3 years without lawyers and hearings.
But keep your powder dry. John Brown just got himself hanged because he was 18 months early. Just be patient, and be ready for things. We don’t need rash actions. We need deliberate organizing. It’s not as sexy, but find a way to take over your local school board, be a poll watcher, canvass voters. Be a “ballot harvester” and go to old folks homes before the communists get there.

The reason the Marxists are doing it, is because it is a win win for them. If the Republicans go along with removal, then the Republicans lose votes of people who are fed up with the Republicans being pussies and losing the war on art, while the Dems will hope to stop hemmorhaging black voters, will keep woke voters, and will pick up leftleaning independents for being socially just.
If the Republicans vote against the removal, they won’t gain anything and any sthe Dems will keep their voters happy, and perhaps gain votes by claiming it is proof the republicans are racist, which will also cause people in the GOP who are embarrassed by anyone defending confederate art to not vote.
The GOP has nothing to gain by thwarting the destruction of the memorial- not enough people care.
