Mankind has been recording history for millennia. Have we recorded lots of macro-evolution? And the large Cambrian explosion shows us that 50% to 80% of all known phyla suddenly appearing in the fossil record within a brief 500K to 1 million year period (depending on who you ask). A million years seems like a long time — it’s longer than even Biden has been alive. lol But that’s way short when natural selection demands speciation to take place gradually across billions of years. Basically the math of natural selection is off by a factor of over a thousand.

And that’s just one of multiple Cambrian explosions. So you’ll forgive me if I’m hesitant to jump in on the Darwin bandwagon.
