Florida has a excess of alligators. Put a few thousand in the Rio Grand near the crossings. The sight of a bunch of gators in the water would in itself be a deterrent. For those non-river crossing locations, Texas has a lot of rattle snakes that can be dump in the area.

If people want to come to the US, do it legally and millions do. Don’t let the first step into the country be a crime.

Considering we have over fifty million illegals roaming the country as we speak. My conservative estimate.
